02/02/2016 ACKNOWLEDGMENT LETTER-NEW CASE To the extent the petitioner challenges the pro se barring order issued by the district court, the petition for writ of habeas corpus is hereby denied. See Jones v. Fla. Parole Comm'n, 48 So. 3d 704, 710 (Fla. 2010); Sneed v. Mayo, 69 So. 2d 653, 654 (Fla. 1954) (the purpose of a writ of habeas corpus is to inquire into the legality of a prisoner's detention). To the extent the petitioner seeks additional habeas corpus relief, the petition is hereby denied as successive. See Jenkins v. Wainwright, 322 So. 2d 477, 478 (Fla. 1975) (declaring that once a petitioner seeks relief in a particular court by means of a petition for extraordinary writ, he has picked his forum and is not entitled to a second or third opportunity for the same relief by the same writ in a different court). Any other motions or other requests for relief are hereby denied. No rehearing will be entertained by this Court.
